Townsville Portrait Photographer -The Show

I am always so excited when I see the sign on Woolcock street advertising the Townsville Show! I know it means I will spend hours at the show observing people. Camera in hand I will photograph the bright colours, crazy rides, wild and interesting people. I will listen to the screams, mechanics of the rides, random animal noises and showies selling their wares. I will smell sugar and fat in the air.
Often the things most people dislike about the show I like. I love the tact, the weird and wonderful people, seeing kids bright eyed with excitement, teenagers dressed in crazy outfits and headpieces, old people holding hands observing the exhibitions and of course I love going on rides! Being thrown around high in the sky like a limp doll is very cool!
The show is common ground that brings people from all walks of life together, it is nostalgic, it offers simple pleasures. What do you like about the show?
